Practical Skills & School Readiness
Clever hands. Practical skills. Growing independence.
Hands-on sessions supporting fine-motor development, following instructions and everyday independence. Activities support practice and participation but do not replace occupational therapy or professional intervention.
About the program
The small skills that unlock a settled start to school and everyday life.
Following a two-step instruction. Holding a pencil. Opening a lunchbox. Waiting a few extra seconds before speaking. These are the practical skills prep teachers ask about most often, and the skills that quietly build a child's independence at home.
Our one-on-one skill sessions are structured, playful and unhurried. Your child works alongside one instructor who can repeat, adjust and celebrate small wins in a way a busy classroom simply cannot.
