NDIS families

Clear, practical support for NDIS families.

Raising Heroes welcomes children whose NDIS funding is self-managed or plan-managed, where the chosen activity is appropriate for the participant’s goals and funding arrangements.

How we may support plan goals

Sessions may provide opportunities to practise the areas below. We do not state that these activities are automatically claimable.

  • Participation in community activities
  • Personal independence
  • Water confidence and safety awareness
  • Coordination and movement skills
  • Following routines and instructions
  • Confidence participating in activities
  • Practical daily skills

Invoicing

We provide clear invoices for self-managed and plan-managed families. Invoices may include:

  • Participant's name
  • NDIS number when provided
  • Date of support
  • Description of the support
  • Duration or quantity
  • Agreed fee
  • Provider business name
  • ABN
  • Contact details

Working with other professionals

With the family’s permission, we welcome relevant information and practical strategies from a child’s occupational therapist, physiotherapist, teacher or other support professional. We can reinforce appropriate strategies during our recreational and skill-building sessions, but we do not deliver therapy or replace the child’s qualified professionals.
